TING MONG
In Cambodia, prior to Khmer Rouge era, scarecrow, named “Ting Mong” by locals, was set up to scare birds away from field where crops are growing. After the Genocide, the Ting Mong has been believed to afraid not only birds but also dead spirits and ghosts. Since the Covid spreads, a lot of Ting Mong appeared in villages to protect families of the virus.
